ProMatch Consultancy Limited's client, a leading employee-owned seafood business based in Alness, is looking for a reliable Intake Operative to join the team. You will be the first contact for raw materials arriving on site, ensuring accurate receiving, checking and recording before production.

The role is full-time, on-site in a chilled environment. You will receive full training and have a clear path to permanent employment within an employee-owned business.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and accurate in handling goods.
• Experience with receiving and recording deliveries is beneficial.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with food safety focus.

A leading employee‑owned seafood business based in Alness has an opportunity available for a reliable and organised Intake Operative to join the team.

As the first point of contact for raw materials arriving on site, you'll play an important role in ensuring products are received, checked and recorded accurately before entering production.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Verifying quantities and product information against delivery documentation
• Feeding production lines with the correct items at the right time
• Moving and storing products safely within the facility
• Supporting stock control and production requirements
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times

This role suits someone organised, proactive and comfortable working in a chilled food‑production environment. You’ll be fully supported to build confidence and learn the site’s systems and processes.

• £13.45 ph with overtime at £20.18 ph after 37.5 hours per week and £26.90 ph on Sundays
• Full‑time hours Monday to Friday, with optional weekend overtime
