Job summary

Initi8 Recruitment in London is seeking an exceptional AI Solutions Engineer to design, prototype and deploy intelligent AI solutions across the organisation. You’ll work with the AI Automation Lead and senior business stakeholders to turn ideas into production systems delivering measurable impact.

This hands-on role requires deep experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG and automation, plus strong Python and API skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM applications, AI agents or automation solutions.
• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows and LLM orchestration.
• Sharp understanding of LLM limitations and where different approaches work — and don't
• A track record of spotting business processes ripe for AI and automation
• Solid grasp of AI evaluation, monitoring, quality and production reliability
• Strong Python and API integration skills
• Experience taking AI solutions beyond prototype or proof-of-concept stage into production
• Strong commercial mindset, laser-focused on measurable business impact
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production-grade AI agents, RAG systems and multi-agent solutions for complex enterprise use cases.
• Prototype bold ideas with new LLMs and architectures to move the needle.
• Map processes with business units and build AI-powered solutions to reduce manual effort and boost accuracy.
• Build evaluation, safety, compliance, audit and monitoring frameworks for reliable, production-ready AI.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities and drive adoption.
• Iterate AI products and create reusable frameworks, prompt libraries and playbooks for organization-wide use.
