Job summary

The Abbey in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire is seeking Production Operatives to operate semi-automatic lines, pack products and hit daily schedules in a busy, quality-focused environment. A rotation of 6-2 / 2-10 with overtime may apply.

The role requires experience in manufacturing, good HSE awareness and teamwork. A FLT licence is desirable but not essential. Multiple vacancies are available due to high order demand.

Job Description

Production Operatives. Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. £15.01 per hour plus overtime at premium rates. Operatives are required to carry out production and packaging duties, working a weekly rotating 6-2 / 2-10 within a busy and quality-focused manufacturing environment. A world-leading manufacturer produces a range of high-performance, specialist products for a diverse and interesting range of industrial applications. Their order book is busy, so they are looking to appoint a number of Production Operatives to help meet demand.

Production Operative Job Purpose

To operate semi-automatic production lines, in a safe manner, ensuring the daily packing schedules are met to meet customer demand, and maintaining quality standards in line with the final packed product specifications.

Skill & Experience Required for the Production Operative Roles

• Experience of manufacturing / production line operations.
• Good level of HSE awareness.
• Good team working skills.
• Be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to shift work & overtime, when required.
• FLT licence desirable but not essential.
