Job summary

Sony Europe in Wales is seeking a Production Engineering Auxiliary to support day-to-day operation and maintenance of auxiliary test heads and production equipment. You will assist with TPM, help technicians with fault finding and repairs, and ensure the auxiliary area stays safe and organised.

Responsibilities

• Assist TPM tasks on auxiliary equipment and maintain accurate records.
• Support technicians with fault finding and minor repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area in line with 5S and EHS standards.
• Assist in production changeovers, ensuring equipment readiness and smooth handovers.
• Monitor and replenish stock of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Support technicians and engineers with work orders, maintenance schedules, and routine checks.
• Contribute to process improvements and implementation of innovation initiatives.
• Communicate observations about equipment performance and highlight issues promptly.
