Job summary

Sony Europe Limited seeks a Production Engineering Technician for its UK Technology Centre. You will support daily TPM, fault finding on production equipment, and drive small but impactful process changes.

You will work with Operational Managers and the wider Production Engineering team, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant environment while applying problem-solving skills and reading mechanical drawings to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Level 3 diploma in electrical, mechanical or maintenance engineering (or above) required.
• Ability to read and interpret Mechanical Engineering Drawings.
• Experience with fault finding on production/process equipment and using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out total productive maintenance (TPM) activities.
• Fault finding and repair of production/process equipment.
• Control and implementation of key process changes.
• Input during Design for Manufacture evaluations.
• Stock management for the department.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safety standards.
