Job summary

Sony Europe in Wales is seeking a Production Engineering Auxiliary to support day-to-day operation and maintenance of auxiliary test heads and production equipment. You will assist with TPM, help technicians with fault finding and repairs, and ensure the auxiliary area stays safe and organised.

Job description

Role Overview

As a Production Engineering Auxiliary, your role is to support the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of auxiliary test heads and related production equipment. This includes assisting with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), supporting technicians and engineers with fault finding and repairs, and ensuring the auxiliary area remains safe, organised, and compliant with 5S and EHS standards. The role will provide hands‑on support during production changeovers, equipment checks, stock management, and replenishment tasks, ensuring smooth production flow across all shifts. You will work closely with Technicians, Engineers, and Operational Managers, helping to implement process improvements, communicate equipment issues, and maintain continuity of operations. This role is suited to individuals with an interest in engineering who are keen to develop their technical skills in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
