Job summary

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology in Severn Beach, Bristol, seeks an experienced Production Engineering Manager to drive operational excellence across manufacturing. Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical systems production engineering environment.
• Experience in fast-paced operations.
• Experience in using Root Cause Analysis methodologies to fault-find engineering problems.
• Experience in Lean Methodologies, both working with and implementing, would be advantageous.
• Experience managing and developing technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Engineering Team to resolve issues and meet SLA.
• Provide specialist electro-mechanical guidance for root cause analysis.
• Develop KPIs and drive continuous improvement in production.
• Coordinate documentation updates and ECO processes.
• Support rollout of new MRP system and Manufacturing BOM discussions.
