Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a leading engineering and manufacturing business in the United Kingdom. You will support production and assembly, reading engineering drawings, applying GD&T, and driving process improvements across cross-functional teams.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000, Monday to Friday, a 37.5-hour week, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, and attractive pension contributions. commutable from surrounding towns is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing engineering experience with machining and assembly.
• Ability to read complex drawings and apply GD&T principles.
• Experience in CNC programming and process improvement within production.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering support to manufacturing and assembly operations to meet quality, safety and delivery targets.
• Act as the technical interface between Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve issues.
• Contribute to product and process reviews for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Facilitate PFMEA, develop process flows, and implement risk-reduction actions.
• Produce and control manufacturing documentation including drawings, routings and work instructions.
• Develop tooling and processes to ensure safe, repeatable high-quality production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
