Job summary

Omega is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to oversee manufacturing processes within a fast-paced environment in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on maintaining high quality, improving efficiency, and coordinating with planning and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities include designing and optimising production processes, analysing production data, and troubleshooting technical issues. A degree in engineering and experience with CNC machinery and Six Sigma are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience / knowledge of working within a CNC machinery environment.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Design, implement, and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage production schedules and coordinate with supply chain and planning teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during production.
