Bowmill Engineering Ltd in Poole is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced machining environment. You will manage and expedite customer orders from receipt to final product delivery, liaising with customers on status and updates while coordinating with engineers on production schedules.

You will maintain accurate sales entries, contribute to weekly reviews, and ensure production run lists and capacity plans are up to date to meet delivery promises.

Competenze

• Experience in production engineering or machine shop.
• Customer-facing role experience is essential.
• Familiarity with capacity planning and production run lists.

Mansioni

• Manage and expedit e customers’ orders from receipt to delivery of finished product.
• Liaise with customers regarding status and delivery updates on orders.
• Enter all customer sales on the sales management sheet.
• Ensure information is detailed and accurate for weekly sales reviews.

The main aspects of the role comprise of:

• Managing and expediting your assigned customers’ orders from receipt until delivery of a finished product.
• Liaising with the customer regarding latest status and delivery updates on orders.
• Entering all customer sales on the sales management sheet.
• Ensure that all information is detailed and accurate, week by week, in preparation for weekly sales reviews.
• You will be responsible for ensuring all production requirements are entered accurately onto the production run list and capacity planning schedules.
• Attending all production meetings and reviews as required.
• Responsible for managing on time delivery for all customers assigned.

Purpose of the role:

• To manage customer sales/production requirements.
• Customer liaison in respect of customer delivery schedules.

The ideal candidate will have had previous experience working in a similar role and industry and will also thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a customer facing role is a must, as well as working closely with engineers on a machine shop.
