About this opportunity

We are recruiting a Production Engineer - Metal Forming (DWI 2-Piece Can) for our Project Engineering team at Bevcan EMA, based at one of our European plants. The role supports 12 manufacturing locations across Europe (UK, France, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Greece, Germany, Turkey) and 5 in the Middle East and North Africa (UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia). It also involves project work at greenfield sites and new acquisitions.

Your mission in Crown

Participate in all Metal Forming activities within the Mechanical Project Engineering Team to enhance manufacturing standards in quality, cost, and efficiency. Responsibilities include Coil Handling, Cupping systems, Bodymakers, Trimmers, Necker, Flanger, Reformer, Die sets, Tooling, and Lubricants. Develop SOPs, Best Practices, and Cost Reduction Programs. Provide training on Metal Forming equipment and processes. Liaise with Crown Technology for equipment, tooling, materials, and process standardization.

About you

The ideal candidate has a sound engineering background or qualifications at ONC, HNC, HND, or degree level. Experience in 2-piece engineering and process knowledge, with a safety mindset, is essential. Knowledge in cupping, bodymaking, and necking is required. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and interpersonal skills are necessary. Computer literacy and flexibility to travel internationally are also important.
