Job summary

Tiger Resourcing Group in Peterborough, United Kingdom, is seeking a Production Engineer to join our Product Engineering and Production teams. You will liaise with Engineering and Production to ensure smooth introduction and sustained manufacturability and testability of electronic products.

• Lead the introduction of new products into production, liaising with all associated parties such as Product Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, to ensure a smooth transition of the new product into production
• Make recommendations to, and changes required by, Production to improve manufacturing processes and efficiencies. Lead improvement initiatives
• Support and maintain production processes and production test systems
• Understand and support the company’s manufacturing sub-contractors to ensure their manufacturing and test processes are aligned with ours
• Promote a supportive and collaborative team working environment

As theProduction Engineeryouwill play an important role in our Product Engineering and Productionfunctions. Requirements

We are particularly interested in receiving yourapplication if you have experience in any of the following areas:

• Demonstrable experience in Production Engineering,particularly in the manufacture and test of complex electronic products,printed circuit board assemblies, surface mount assemblies and mechanicaldesign and materials
• Technical knowledge within product design and testin electronic products would be ideal
• Although not essential, experience managing andmitigating risks utilising specific techniques for engineering projects as wellas experience with Jama Connect and/or Jobscope MRP systems would be highlyadvantageous.
