Production Engineer

Office Based, Lane End, High Wycombe with occasional travel in the UK and to China

ELGA LabWater, a leading provider of laboratory water purification systems, seeks a dedicated Production Engineer to support our manufacturing operations across the UK and China. The role involves ensuring smooth project handovers from engineering to production, supporting manufacturing processes, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Handover: Facilitate effective project transfer from engineering to manufacturing.
2. Tooling and Fixtures Development: Design and produce tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
3. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation.
4. Manufacturing Support: Support plant equipment and production assets.
5. Special Projects: Assist with sourcing, installation, and system design.
6. Cost Saving Initiatives: Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
7. Quality Assurance: Resolve quality issues, ensure standards compliance.
8. Team Coordination: Manage team tasks, monitor progress, mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience: Proven manufacturing engineering experience, knowledge of processes and tooling.
3. Skills: Problem-solving, communication, teamwork, manufacturing systems, cost optimisation.
4. Travel: Willingness to travel UK/China.
