The Role

• Design, source, and implement tooling, fixtures, and production equipment to enhance manufacturing performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in fabrication, painting and assembly processes
• Support existing production processes to meet safety, quality and cost targets
• Use CAD software to produce technical drawings
• Manage and maintain BOMs and process documentation
• Develop route timings and process flow maps to drive efficiency
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing projects

The Person

• Degree in Engineering or 5+ years of industrial experience in production/manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in problem-solving tools (e.g. Root Cause Analysis) and lean methodologies
• Experience with process mapping, takt time and cycle time analysis
• Skilled in CAD packages and familiar with ERP/MRP systems
