Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Production Engineer for an established electro-mechanical product developer in the Cambridge area. You will help improve manufacturing processes, develop test solutions and ensure products can be built and tested efficiently and consistently.

You will work closely with R&D, Production and Operations, designing and maintaining test fixtures, and supporting NPI and design reviews to drive quality and continuous improvement across production lines.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/BEng in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience in production, test or electronics engineering.
• Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
• Ability to read circuit schematics.
• Hands-on electronics assembly and prototyping skills.
• Test fixture or production equipment experience.
• Basic CAD skills advantageous.
