Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Production Engineer for a growing engineering business in Gillingham. You will own projects from design through to delivery, coordinating customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Project Engineering role.
• HVAC project experience is essential.
• HND or Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or technical discipline.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Good understanding of risk management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environments.
• Ability to balance customer expectations with business requirements.

• Manage projects to deliver on time, within budget, and to spec.
• Apply project management principles throughout the lifecycle.
• Design, validate, and deliver engineered equipment solutions.
• Coordinate and manage suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation for client approval.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments to meet objectives.
• Monitor technical, commercial, quality, and delivery performance.
• Support smaller project contracts as required.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday with flexible start times between 07:00 and 09:00 and finish times between 16:15 and 18:15. Week 1 includes Friday off. Week 2 includes a 4-hour Friday shift with flexible finish times between 11:00 and 13:00.
