Job summary

Advanced Engineering in Aston, Birmingham is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to minimise downtime, support continuous improvement and ensure a safe, efficient working environment. You will develop and implement processes to cut costs and boost productivity, while collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

The role offers a salary of £40K-£55K, Monday to Friday with core hours 8-4 and flexible start/finish times to meet weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Conduct regular inspections and audits
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Design, troubleshoot, and optimise production machinery and equipment.

Are you an experienced Production Engineer looking to join a manufacturing company based in Aston, Birmingham? You will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. As a Production Engineer you will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, looking at route cause analysis, pushing important problems for review and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Offering a salary of £40K - £55K to work Monday to Friday with a flexibility of working hours (core hours being 8-4pm).

As a Production Engineer your role will involve:

Suitable Candidates:

• Apprentice trained (NVQ3) or and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical role


• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software


• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards
