Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a Hardware Electronics Engineer for Production to drive design for manufacturing of electronic components and systems, ensuring scalable, reliable production as products transition from R&D to production.

You will collaborate with R&D and manufacturing partners worldwide to support NPI and ongoing lifecycle management, and you will engage hands-on with hardware, embedded interfaces, networks, and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in electronic design and DFM principles.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in electronic board design using Altium or OrCAD.
• Knowledge of electronics components, PCB/PCBA, batteries, RF, IR, testing methods and ATE.
• Experience with compliance and regulatory standards globally.
• Ability to collaborate in matrixed international organizations and cross-cultural teams.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in Hebrew and English.
• Hands-on hardware expertise in embedded interfaces, networks, instrumentation, debugging, and system integration.
• Strong problem-solving with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for manufacturing (DFM) of electronic components and systems.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing partners worldwide to support NPI and lifecycle management.
• Engage hands-on with hardware systems, embedded interfaces, networks, and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues through system-level debugging and testing.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively in Hebrew and English across teams.
