Taylor & Francis Group, an Informa Business, is seeking a Production Editor within our Journals Production team. You will coordinate interactions between authors, editors and suppliers to ensure timely publication of articles and issues across our journals.

The role emphasizes customer service, process discipline and collaboration with external partners, aiming to deliver high-quality outputs while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively to provide timely first-rate customer service for authors, editors, suppliers and societies.
• Ensure article and issue publication run to agreed schedules and budgets.
• Analyse errors and defects and implement corrective actions to improve quality.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop knowledge of supplier processes to collaborate on problem solving and defect management.
• Share best practice with editors, authors, societies, suppliers and colleagues.
• Understand how journals can be developed and drive changes to meet Taylor & Francis standards.
• Identify opportunities for change at product level and sell benefits to editors and colleagues.
• Be a cooperative team player and take ownership of your titles Portfolio.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and manage error handling.
