Job summary

Premier League Studios is seeking a highly organised Production Coordinator to assist the Programming team from development through delivery. You will support the Production Management group, coordinating shoots globally, handling logistics, call sheets and post-production paperwork, while tracking costs and maintaining schedules.

• Experience supporting budgeting processes and cost tracking.

• Track costs, process invoices and monitor team expenses.
• Use resource management systems to maintain schedules and bookings.
• Support freelancer engagement and IR35 compliance.

Premier League Studios are looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Coordinator to join our Programming team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse slate of content, supporting productions from development through to delivery in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Production Management team, helping to ensure the smooth running of multiple programming strands. The role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for television production.

The role

• Coordinating national and international shoots across a variety of programming content strands.
• Supporting the Production Manager with day-to-day duties to ensure smooth running of the department.
• Booking crew, equipment, travel, accommodation and other production logistics as required.
• Ensuring risk assessments are created by the relevant producer.
• Creating, checking and distributing call sheets, while acting as a key point of contact for crew.
• Clearing archive footage and commercial music where applicable.
• Completing post-production paperwork, including stills lists, music cue sheets and third-party archive documentation.
• Tracking production costs, processing invoices and timesheets, and monitoring team expenses to support effective budget management.
• Using resource management systems to maintain schedules and manage crew bookings.
• Supporting freelancer engagement processes and ensuring compliance with IR35 legislation.
• Promoting and maintaining compliance with Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies.
• Contributing to continuous improvements of production workflows, systems and team processes.
• Completing Albert paperwork and using creative thinking to drive forward Premier League Studios sustainability goals.
• Identifying and resolving day-to-day production challenges.

Requirements For The Role

• Previous experience in a Production Coordinator or Production Management role, ideally within a programming or broadcast production environment.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A good understanding of production processes across all stages, from pre-production to post-production delivery.
• Good attention to detail and financial acumen.
• Strong prioritisation skills, with the ability to assess competing demands and focus on key tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with colleagues, freelancers and suppliers.
• Experience supporting budgeting processes, including cost tracking and creating ad hoc budgets if required.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Understanding of freelancer engagement processes and IR35 legislation is desirable.
