Job summary

Evolito Ltd. is seeking a Production Controller in the UK to join our fast-growing electric propulsion team. This 12-month fixed-term contract is based in Bicester and reports to the Planning Manager, supporting production schedules, ERP/MES data collection, and materials planning.

You will ensure material availability, monitor WIP, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve issues quickly while maintaining KPIs and a safe, efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• Previous proven experience in a similar role.
• Previous proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, including data input and extraction for WO and Inventory management.
• Comprehensive understanding of material traceability in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing best practices.
• Instinctive problem-solving with analytical approach.
• Self-starter attitude with energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor material availability and drive resolution of shortages with relevant departments.
• Ensure smooth flow of works orders to production and raise WOs where needed.
• Monitor and manage open WIP and ensure timely close-out of works orders.
• Collaborate with Stores to ensure material availability on the line.
• Support with ad-hoc hardware requests and feed demand requirements to Planning.
• Collaborate on BOM and SAP item master setup/maintenance, focusing on safety stock and batch quantities.
• Support MRB process to meet production and customer requirements.
• Ensure MRP provides accurate demand signals and address root causes of issues.
• Assist Production Planners to resolve issues and improve planning accuracy.
• Gather data for MES and SAP across cycle times, scrap, and S&OP metrics.
• Create and maintain stock level processes for shelf-life items and lineside materials.
