Job summary

Marston's in Crawley is seeking an Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team and progress through the Chef Academy Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months. You’ll learn by doing, prep, and bringing our pub menu to life.

The role offers secure hours, shift work including evenings and weekends, and a clear path to becoming a Sous Chef. You’ll gain hands-on cookery skills and ongoing training from Marston's apprenticeship programmes, plus staff discounts and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life
• Learn new prepping skills and bring a meal to life for the first time
• Own a section of the kitchen and support the team daily
• Assist with day-to-day running of the kitchen and food safety standards
