Responsibilities

  • Cutting and sewing garments to a good standard.
  • Carrying out quality control for all samples and production.
  • Supporting fittings and undertaking measuring & alterations.
  • Maintaining the organisation and workflow of the workroom.
  • Packing and preparing materials for production.
  • Booking in and out fabrics, trims, samples, and garments.
  • Maintaining a tidy fabric library and sample area.
  • Liaising with Design and Production teams on progress.
  • Completing general workroom administration and filing.

Fashionizer provides high-quality uniform solutions that strengthen brand identity and support employee comfort and performance.

We are seeking an experienced Production Assistant & Workroom Coordinator to support the day-to-day operation of our in-house workroom and outsourced production. This is a hands‑on role with a strong focus on garment cutting, sewing, and quality control, suited to someone with at least 2 years’ professional experience in a fashion workroom or atelier production environment.

You will be central to ensuring the workroom operates efficiently, deadlines are met, and all garments are made to the required specifications and quality standards.

About the Studio

We are a small, friendly team working in a bright, spacious workroom with large windows and plenty of natural daylight. This is an ideal environment for a practical, detail‑oriented candidate with strong organisational and sewing skills who enjoys being hands‑on.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and sewing garments to a good standard, including tailored jackets
  • Carrying out garment quality control for all samples and production
  • Supporting fittings and undertaking on‑site measuring & alterations.
  • Maintaining the organisation and workflow of the workroom
  • Packing and preparing materials for production or CMT orders
  • Booking in and out:fabrics, trims, samples, and production garments
  • Maintaining a tidy fabric library and sample area
  • Ordering and managing sewing room materials
  • Liaising with Design and Production teams on progress, priorities, and timelines
  • Completing general workroom administration and filing as required
