Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is recruiting a Production Assistant in Milton Keynes for a 6-month temporary assignment with potential to go permanent. The role supports processing customer parts, including unpacking, inspection, and packing for dispatch. Initial hourly pay is £12.77, with a 7% shift allowance raising it to £13.66 after 13 weeks.

Shifts rotate: Week 1 6:00am–2:00pm; Week 2 1:00pm–9:00pm. Own transport required due to limited public transport in the area.

Responsibilities

• Book customer orders into SAP accurately.
• Unpack orders and inspect parts for damage.
• Check quantities and report discrepancies.
• Inspect components using microscopes or visual equipment.
• Pack completed orders for dispatch.
• Process shipments using courier systems.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace.
• Report quality issues and support corrective actions.

Job description

We’re looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Production Assistant to support the processing of customer parts, including unpacking, inspection, and packing for dispatch. This is a 6‑month temporary role with the potential to become permanent. A salary increase will come into effect after completing 13 weeks, this is a 7% shift allowance will increase the hourly pay rate from £12.77 to £13.66.

Please note if you do not live within walking distance to this area - and due to the location you will require your own transport as no public transport will be operating directly in the area based on the below shifts.

Shifts (rotating weekly):
