Job summary

Adecco Romford & London East are seeking proactive Production Assistants to support key stages of our client's manufacturing and finishing processes in a busy team at Loughton, Essex.

This temporary full-time role offers 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am shifts on a 24/5 rota, with five day shifts and five night shifts, no weekends unless overtime is agreed. Excellent benefits and holiday pay accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confident using basic computer systems and completing documentation.
• Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the production line, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Operate and support machines, including cleaning, packing and labelling output.
• Examine, sort, band and package items in line with customer specifications.
• Support the team in preparing materials and equipment for production runs.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

Shift Pattern: 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am (on a rota basis)

Pay: £16.18 per hour + Holiday Pay + Benefits

Location: Loughton, Essex

Own transport is highly recommended due to location and working hours
