Job description

Focused Recruitment is currently seeking Production Assembly Operators to join our client's manufacturing plant in the Blackwood area.

Duties

1. Assembling safety-critical products with 100% accuracy.
2. Assembling medium to heavy components; candidates should be dexterous.
3. Proper use and understanding of measurement equipment, including tape measures and other tools.
4. Experience with hand, power, and air tools.
5. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
6. Operating at speeds necessary to meet production demands.
7. Bending, reaching, and standing for 8 hours.
8. Hand and eye coordination.

Candidate Requirements

1. Previous experience in assembly/production and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
2. Knowledge of workplace health and safety.
3. Ability to work towards targets, KPIs, and schedules.
4. Ability to work as part of a team.
5. Relevant manufacturing/production experience.

Hours of Work

Working a 2-shift pattern (days & afternoons), Monday - Friday:

1. Days: 05:45 am - 13:45 pm, Monday - Thursday, with an early finish on Friday.
2. Afternoons: 14:00 pm - 00:00 am, Monday - Thursday, with Fridays off.
