Role Overview
With the support of a Government Apprenticeship Training Scheme, we will provide the skills to be proficient within our Production team, to learn the skills as an Operator or Inspector working within an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) environment, AOI, Xray and NPI. The training scheme will provide a foundation to our products and customers, with the opportunity to progress to other areas within the Production team.
You will work towards the responsibility of a PCBA Builder, working within the PCBA process hand assembly electronic, electro-mechanical circuit board assemblies. To follow methods and sequence of operations in board building, hand soldering (predominantly TH/Conventional componentry), rework and inspection on printed circuit boards. Adhering to internal production process and workflow plans while reporting to the process supervisor.
