Job summary

Vertiv in Campsie, Derry/Londonderry, is seeking a Production Analyst to support production performance, improve efficiency, and drive data‑led decision making across manufacturing operations.

You'll work with Operations, Production, Engineering and Planning to turn data into actionable insights that improve productivity and quality. The role also involves dashboard development and capacity planning support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Analysing production metrics, KPIs and operational performance data.
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Producing daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Monitoring manufacturing efficiency, downtime and quality metrics.
• Supporting root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities.

• Supporting capacity planning and production scheduling activities.
• Maintaining production databases and reporting systems.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

As a Production Analyst, you'll work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering and Planning teams to transform data into actionable insights that improve productivity, quality and operational performance.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with statistical analysis techniques.
• Previous experience within electronics, engineering or critical infrastructure manufacturing environments.
