Job summary

The Sterling Choice are seeking a data-focused specialist to support the Operations team in ensuring production data is accurate and up to date. You will provide a clear view of factory performance by maintaining ERP data, producing KPI reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across Production, Supply Chain and Technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in production support or manufacturing administration.
• Strong Excel skills with large data handling.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Tropos.
• Excellent attention to detail.

• Able to work with both systems and people.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain product information within the ERP system.
• Close works orders and track production through the manufacturing process.
• Analyse production data and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Produce daily and weekly KPI reports.
• Maintain Excel-based reporting tools and operational data.
• Manage WIP stock and support quarterly stock counts.
• Work with operational teams to improve data accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the factory.

Every production run, every works order, every stock movement... it all feeds into how efficiently the factory operates. Get it right, and the business makes better decisions.

The role

You'll support the Operations team by ensuring production data is accurate, up to date, and giving the business a true picture of what's happening on the factory floor.

Working across Production, Supply Chain and Technical, you'll play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing waste and maintaining the accuracy of the ERP system.

You'll be:

• Setting up and maintaining product information within the ERP system
• Closing works orders and tracking production through the manufacturing process
• Analysing production data and highlighting opportunities for improvement
• Producing daily and weekly KPI reports
• Maintaining Excel-based reporting tools and operational data
• Managing WIP stock and supporting quarterly stock counts
• Working closely with operational teams to improve data accuracy
• Supporting continuous improvement projects across the factory
