Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is offering a placement year at its Goodwood site for a student in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering. Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and data acquisition systems.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics, vehicle performance, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing validation tests for different vehicle systems.
• Assist in the execution of validation tests, including vehicle setup, instrumentation, data collection, and post-test analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of validation activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during validation tests.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of validation procedures and test protocols.
• Document test results, observations, and recommendations for future reference.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in vehicle testing and validation techniques.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the overall validation process.
