We are working on behalf of an established and highly respected organisation in the electrical safety and testing sector, who are now seeking a Product Training Manager to lead the transformation and expansion of their training offering.
With a product portfolio spanning over 350 items and covering 13 sectors – including medical, renewable energy, manufacturing, education, and aerospace – the business supports customers worldwide with not only its products, but also key services such as calibration, repair, and technical training.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a growing area within the business. You will be responsible for modernising the company’s online training offering, developing new onsite programmes, and delivering training sessions yourself in the initial phase.
The company is currently developing a new website, with plans to give the training function greater visibility and strategic importance.
Over time, you will play a key role in shaping the growth of the training team and function – essentially building a department as if it were a business within the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Refresh and modernise existing online training content
• Design and implement new onsite training programmes
• Personally deliver training in the initial stages
• Work with the Sales Team to promote and sell training packages
• Represent the business at events and engage with key stakeholders
• Organise and manage training events, including sourcing venues
• Contribute to building a scalable training department over time
What We’re Looking For
• A strong electrical or technical background
• Experience in delivering technical training (ideally City & Guilds, NICEIC or equivalent)
• Previous success in developing both online and in-person training content
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset – someone who enjoys building from the ground up
• Ability to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Confidence to lead sessions and represent the business professionally at events
Why Apply?
• Shape and lead a department with strong commercial potential
• Join a forward-thinking business investing in digital and training growth
• Receive full support, tools, and autonomy to build the offering
• Excellent salary and benefits package, including a company car and performance bonus
