The Company

This food brand is expanding rapidly with exciting plans ahead. They seek a technical expert to oversee product quality, food safety, and compliance, including developing and maintaining the QMS, handling complaints, and risk management.

The role involves working in a hybrid setting with 3 days in the London office and the rest WFH or at the manufacturing site, with some flexibility.

The Role

Reporting to the Founder, you will ensure high standards across product ranges, work on NPD and EPD projects, and collaborate closely with co-manufacturers, visiting sites regularly. You will be hands-on in factory and supplier visits, and work at the London HQ.

With support from a senior technical consultant, you will become the go-to expert on product-related topics, identifying opportunities from technological, packaging, or ingredient perspectives.

The Person

Ideal candidates will have a food science/technology degree, with a few years of experience in a similar technical, quality, and compliance role in the food industry, preferably with NPD/EPD experience. Experience in start-ups or SMEs that foster autonomy and agility is desirable.

You should hold HACCP Level 2 and Food Safety Level 2 qualifications, and be familiar with Quality Management Systems.
