Senior Process Technologist (12-month Maternity Cover)

Location: London

My client is urgently looking to recruit a Senior Process Technologist on a twelve-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

You must be available to start within the next 6 weeks to apply. The company produces chilled food products for major retailers. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.

The team consists of a large process department; you will report to the Process Development Manager and manage a team of five Process Technologists. The role is Monday-Friday, 08:30 – 17:00.

You will be responsible for managing multiple projects to successfully deliver product trials in accordance with both company and customer requirements.

Accountabilities:

• Effective team management, including development through PDPs.
• Supporting innovation and improvement plans aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure successful product launches, influencing project timelines.
• Managing trial completion against the plan, adhering to critical paths.
• Participating in customer panels (internal and external) to prepare for customer approval, ensuring compliance with business and customer expectations.
• Proactive planning and management of the critical path, with a 3-6 month plan in place.
