Nominal is seeking a technically fluent engineer to own complex customer issues end-to-end, working directly with engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize product usage. You will dive into logs, APIs, databases, and production systems, building knowledge bases and contributing to product improvements.

Ideal candidates have strong Python and SQL skills, experience with observability tools like Datadog, and a customer-centric mindset to translate problems into product opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own technical problems end-to-end from investigation to resolution.
• Work directly with highly technical customers to optimize product usage.
• Debug production systems by inspecting logs, APIs, databases, and code.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to prioritize fixes and improvements.
• Identify recurring issues and drive product or documentation improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Leverage AI to speed debugging and automate repetitive tasks.
• Step in during high-impact moments to unblock customers.
