Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Specialist to join our EDM Product Strategy Team in London. In this fast-paced and high-pressure role, you will collaborate with a team of driven professionals dedicated to delivering innovative, high-value solutions in Enterprise Data Management (EDM).

About The Role

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Specialist to join our EDM Product Strategy Team in London. In this fast-paced and high-pressure role, you will collaborate with a team of driven professionals dedicated to delivering innovative, high-value solutions in Enterprise Data Management (EDM). You will focus on gathering product requirements, developing user stories, refining backlogs, and coordinating Agile processes, ensuring clear communication between technical and business teams. This role offers significant career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment; produce detailed requirement documents and field mappings.
  2. Engage with clients and stakeholders to identify and analyze business and technical needs.
  3. Document, validate, and maintain business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  4. Participate in Agile/Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Refinement, Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  5. Collaborate with financial data vendors like Bloomberg, LSEG, SIX, and ICE for accurate field mappings.
  6. Review vendor schema updates and update mapping documentation accordingly.
  7. Demonstrate knowledge of vendor data schemas and mapping techniques; experience with ERWIN is a plus.
  8. Partner with UI/UX designers to develop wireframes, mock-ups, and site maps.
  9. Draft user stories and acceptance criteria.
  10. Assist with project estimation, planning, and execution.
  11. Translate business requirements into software specifications with development teams.
  12. Work with QA to create and execute test cases.
  13. Support development and QA to ensure timely delivery of product enhancements.
  14. Contribute to business cases and client documentation.
  15. Facilitate communication between business and technology teams.
  16. Review and evaluate client change requests, and track decisions and actions.
Qualifications & Experience Required
  1. At least 3 years' experience as a Product or Business Analyst, preferably in Agile environments.
  2. Strong writing skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  3. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  4. Project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks.
  5. Interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  6. Knowledge of business analysis techniques like gap analysis, use case modeling, UML.
  7. Experience managing complex technology projects.
  8. Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  9. Familiarity with Confluence, SharePoint, and SQL is a plus.
  10. EDM experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  11. Financial industry experience is advantageous but not required.
  12. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
