Job summary

MBDA Bolton is seeking a Product Security Engineer to join the Security Engineering Department. You will contribute to secure product lifecycles, design robust security solutions across hardware, firmware and software, and work with cross‑functional teams to protect MBDA's IP and safeguard the Customer's through-life capability.

Qualifications

Strong engineering background in Systems Engineering.
Experience in electronics design and/or embedded software or firmware design is desirable.
DV clearance or willingness to go through DV clearance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage multi-disciplinary task packages to deliver a robust security solution within budget and timescales.
Trade-space analysis to maximise protection without compromising safety or Customer advantage.
Prepare and maintain a robust security case with the UK Customer and advisors.
Lead systems design across hardware, firmware, and software to demonstrate security effectiveness.
Coordinate with manufacturing and support teams to maintain confidentiality and integrity through life cycle.
