Product Sales Specialist – Financial Management Solutions

Position Overview:

The Finance Product Sales Specialist will play a critical role in driving the growth of finance management solutions within the banking sector. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, engaging with key stakeholders, managing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to advance deals and meet business targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Strategy Development
    • Develop go-to-market plans with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services, and execute with local sales teams.
    • Identify and prioritize target banking clients for upselling or acquiring new clients.
  2. Sales Execution
    • Coordinate globally to implement GTM strategies and identify opportunities within existing and new clients.
    • Conduct needs assessments, communicate value propositions, deliver presentations, and support proposal and deal closure processes.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure deal alignment and successful closure.
  3. Performance Monitoring
    • Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics; provide regular updates.
  4. Product Expertise & Market Insights
    • Develop deep knowledge of finance management solutions, regulatory compliance, and industry trends.
    • Provide feedback for product improvements based on market needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related; Master’s is a plus.
  • At least 5 years in sales, business development, or consulting in finance management or financial services software.
  • Established banking sector network, especially in CFO offices.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets in finance solutions.
  • Strong understanding of banking, finance management frameworks, and regulatory tools.
  • Experience with finance transformation and accounting hub programs.
  • Excellent solutioning, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships within the industry.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with independent and collaborative work skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Achieving sales targets for new business and retention.
  • Expanding client base and market penetration through high-value deal closures.
