Job summary

Bolt is seeking a Product Quality Administrator to join our Nottingham-based team. The role involves supporting the Quality Engineers with daily updates, handling traceability, and gathering documentation for audits.

You will interact with the European QA Manager and Engineering group to prioritise inspections and maintain quality records. The successful candidate will have GCSEs, strong communication, and excellent organisational skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to manage

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Quality Engineers and provide daily updates on quality-related issues and problem folders.
• Support the FAIR team with traceability activities and general administration.
• Retrieve certificates, test reports, and supporting documentation from archive systems.
• Assist the European Quality Assurance Manager and Engineering team with inspections and quality activities.
• Maintain and create controlled quality documentation.
• Act as the departmental purchasing liaison, following up on orders and supplier requests.
• Work with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Contribute to departmental objectives, continuous improvement, and overall Product Quality effectiveness.

Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Quality Engineers and provide daily updates on quality-related issues and problem folders.
• Support the FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) team with traceability activities and general administration.
• Retrieve certificates, test reports, and supporting documentation from company archive systems to meet departmental requirements.
• Assist the European Quality Assurance Manager and Engineering team in prioritising incoming goods inspections and quality activities.
• Support the maintenance, retention, and creation of controlled quality documentation.
• Act as the departmental purchasing liaison, following up on outstanding orders and supplier requests.
• Work closely with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Contribute to departmental objectives, continuous improvement activities, and the overall effectiveness of the Product Quality function.
• Carry out additional administrative duties as required to support the wider Quality team.

• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
• Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• BPSS clearance (or ability to obtain)
