Role Summary

• Lead the strategic direction, development, and implementation of the bank's payment systems and technologies, ensuring they are innovative, secure, and efficient, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• As the Product Owner for our Payments product, you will be responsible for creating best-in-class payment functionality and platform to deliver optimal outcomes for our customers.
• Leverage your deep understanding of business and engineering capabilities to own the product roadmap for our payment solutions.
• Manage features, product requirements, and the backlog's definition, management, and prioritization. This role involves exposure to senior management and carries significant responsibility.
• Drive the evolution of our payment applications in line with business growth and expansion.

Position Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the bank and vendors to improve the current route to live for payment systems.
• Work with multi-regional teams to promote adoption of new payment technologies and enhance existing systems to improve customer experience.
• Ensure technology provides operational resilience and disaster recovery capabilities against threats like cybercrime and data breaches.
• Lead a team of fewer than 10 SME resources.
• Drive IT innovation and overall technology strategy.
• Strengthen IT governance and ensure effective risk and compliance management.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of new payment features and improvements to existing features.
• Take responsibility for change initiatives, ensuring projects align with strategic goals.
• Translate product features and business needs into well-defined requirements, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate clearly about the impacts of changes to system users.
• Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing stakeholder requirements.
