Hays is currently recruiting a Network Security Product Owner role with a leading telco provider for a 3-6-month contract. If you're an experienced Product Owner, with a background in telecommunications companies and a strong understanding of network security, then we want to hear from you.

Working Arrangements: Hybrid (2-3 days in office in Central London)

Duration: 3–6 months + potential extension

Rates: Up to £700/day inside via Umbrella

Your new role and what you'll need to succeed

As the Product Owner, you will partner with the team to lead the overview and selection of a Security Service Edge (SSE) product family to roll out to the business. Using your insight into network security, you will:

1. Provide an overview of key SSE providers and put together a scope of work around them, creating market assessments/strategies and documenting technical features.
2. Create testing environments for the different product options.
3. Strong experience and an understanding of network security will be very highly regarded, as well as experience with SSE vendors like ZScaler, Cato, Microsoft, and similar.
4. SAFe experience and certifications will be beneficial, as well as network security certifications like CISM, CISMP, and CCSP.

You'll be offered an initial 3-month contract, with the potential to extend for another 3 to round off the product selection. You'll be remunerated at a daily rate up to £700/day inside via Umbrella, as well as given an opportunity to work alongside a tight-knit team within a leading telco provider.
