Job summary

Howden is seeking an experienced Product Owner for our London or Amersham office, with hybrid flexibility and weekly travel to London. You will join a Product/Software Engineering team supporting actuarial, investment and employee benefits platforms, focusing on internal systems for time recording, billing, file exchange, contacts, and documents management.

You will lead requirements, maintain roadmaps, collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams, and drive best practices while

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build relationships with the engineering team and stakeholders.
• Experience in a Product Owner or similar role with back-end products.
• Experience with a Microsoft tech stack and ADO (Azure DevOps).
• Ability to manage complex requirements with multiple internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface to funnel business and technical enhancements and analyze requirements.
• Maintain roadmaps and communicate pathways and product details to the business.
• Oversee design, development, testing and release using engineering best practices.
• Work with Product Owners and delivery leads to build team roadmaps.
• Drive planning, remove ambiguities and provide engineering estimates.
