Howden is seeking a Function Area Leader to lead the Client Onboarding team within the Pensions Administration business. Based from our Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Cheltenham, Amersham, London or Glasgow offices with hybrid working, you will implement the firm’s strategy, drive onboarding/offboarding processes, and deliver operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience leading high-performing, commercially driven teams (preferably in pension administration).
Strong IT/technical skills relevant to pensions operations.
Solid operational capability ensuring efficient processing of technical initiatives.
Proven ability to drive process improvements and embrace change.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Developing onboarding/offboarding processes for the Pension Administration portfolio.
Delivering technically-driven activities to enable profitable administration.
Providing internal/external reports to monitor progress.
Forecasting capacity/demand and financial delivery for onboarding/ offboarding.
Ensuring outputs meet quality standards and client expectations.
Evaluating activities from a commercial perspective; cost-benefit analysis.
Coaching and developing team members; maintaining growth mindset.
Identifying and mitigating onboarding/offboarding risks.
Engaging with stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectives.
