Seiko Epson Corporation in Watford is recruiting a detail‑oriented Product Owner to translate business strategy into deliverable outcomes for our subscription and recurring revenue platforms.

You will gather requirements, write specifications, backlogs, and acceptance criteria, and coordinate with business and technical teams in a largely automated environment. This role focuses on requirements gathering, business analysis, and product delivery rather than coding, with mentoring available.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar business‑facing role supporting digital platforms
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Jira, user stories, and backlog management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Power BI
• Experience working within an international business environment
• Understanding of subscription-based, recurring revenue, or contractual business models is highly desirable
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• MS Dynamics or payment platform experience is advantageous

Responsabilités

• Gather and analyse business and user requirements
• Translate requirements into user stories, workflows, and functional specifications
• Ensure requirements are clearly defined, understood, and aligned with business objectives
• Maintain a prioritised, delivery‑ready backlog
• Define acceptance criteria, identify dependencies and business value
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies to support successful delivery
• Support product roadmap planning and prioritisation
• Prepare and refine requirements for upcoming development cycles
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide requirements clarification
• Support development and testing teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensure requirements remain aligned from concept through to release
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and end users
• Gather feedback, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations
• Communicate priorities, progress, and changes clearly and effectively
• Support testing and user acceptance activities
• Leverage user feedback and data insights to drive continuous improvement
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of platform capabilities and business processes
