Job Description

We are seeking a senior business analyst in the UK with trading experience to leverage their knowledge of financial markets and trading processes. The role involves identifying business needs, analyzing data, and recommending solutions to improve and optimize trading operations.

1. Identify and document business requirements related to trading operations, including front-to-back processes.
2. Collaborate with traders and stakeholders to understand their challenges and needs.
3. Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
4. Assess current systems and processes to find bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
5. Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
6. Develop system requirements and specifications for new or modified trading systems.
7. Understand execution workflows across various asset classes (e.g., equities, fixed income, FX).
8. Coordinate with developers and product managers to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, to explain complex issues and propose solutions.
10. Manage stakeholder expectations and keep them informed of project progress.
11. Be familiar with trade capture, execution, and lifecycle events.
12. Document system requirements for new or modified trading systems.
13. Collaborate with traders to design and implement solutions for new products or services.
