UK Mobile App Product Owner

Location: Newcastle COE, NE12 8BU with occasional travel abroad

Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: 40 hours per week – 9am to 6pm, Mon-Fri (Hybrid)

Holidays: 29 days holidays (increases to 31 days after 1 calendar year service), including bank holidays

Mission: The primary mission of the UK Mobile App Product Owner is to deliver the best user experience by increasing app usage sustainably and simplifying services to reduce interactions with customer-facing teams. You will identify improvement areas and collaborate with business teams and countries, especially France, to implement customer-oriented, ROI-driven improvements. The main application is "My Verisure," with potential expansion to others.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality features on time
• Manage the roadmap with UK/FR business and design teams
• Write user stories
• Collaborate with other French Product Owners
• Prioritize and plan user stories aligned with business challenges and timelines
• Prepare GoToMarket strategies for new features
• Lead and monitor the work of designers and developers
• Perform functional testing and lead QA activities
• Follow up on the performance of new features quantitatively and qualitatively

Performance Monitoring:

• Define and track performance indicators
• Generate and communicate reports on app usage and improvements
• Monitor the app’s impact and identify necessary improvements and risks
• Lead regular follow-up meetings and update related materials
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and leadership communications

Communication and Promotion:

• Promote new features effectively
• Ensure processes are validated and tested before launch
• Monitor adoption and mastery of processes
• Oversee app versioning and deployment on app stores
• Foster a digital culture within the company

Ideal Candidate:

• Expert in managing B2C Mobile Applications
• Experienced in agile methodologies
• Skilled in working with cross-functional teams (marketing, IT, customer service)
• Strong understanding of user experience principles
• Ability to evaluate feature impact and optimize app performance
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or French is a plus
• Proficient with analytical tools (BI, app stores, Office Suite)
