Job description

Help Build the Product Operating System Behind a European SaaS Success Story

HireQ Talent is partnering with a growing technology business who is entering an exciting phase of growth, expanding its SaaS platform across Europe and investing heavily in its Product organisation to support that journey. As part of this growth, they are looking for a Product Operations Lead to help shape how Product teams operate, deliver and scale.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage in its evolution and play a key role in defining the processes, tools and operating rhythms that underpin a high-performing Product function.

Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer and working closely alongside the Head of Product Delivery, you'll be responsible for improving the way Product teams work, enabling better planning, greater visibility, stronger execution and more effective decision-making across the organisation.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional Product Management role.

It's a role for someone who loves making teams more effective.

Someone who enjoys creating clarity from complexity.

Someone who can identify opportunities to improve ways of working and then successfully bring people on that journey.

The successful candidate will act as an internal coach, change agent and operational leader, helping Product Owners, Product Managers, Development and QA teams adopt better processes, tools and practices.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading Product Operations across a growing Product organisation
  • Owning and enhancing Product planning, roadmap management and reporting practices
  • Creating and maintaining multiple roadmap views for different stakeholders
  • Driving adoption and optimisation of Jira across Product teams
  • Championing the effective use of AI tools and workflows across Product
  • Developing meaningful delivery, output and performance reporting
  • Coaching Product teams to improve consistency, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Working across Product, Engineering and QA to improve delivery processes from idea through to release
  • Establishing scalable frameworks, governance and operational best practices
  • Supporting the evolution of the wider Product operating model as the business continues to grow across Europe
What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who combines a passion for Product Operations with strong coaching and change management skills.

  • Product Operations Manager
  • Product Excellence Lead
  • Agile Coach
  • Senior Product Manager
  • Product Delivery Operations Manager
You’ll bring:
  • Strong experience improving Product processes, frameworks and ways of working
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and modern Product organisations
  • Excellent Jira expertise and experience driving adoption across teams
  • Experience introducing new tools, technologies or operational improvements
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Experience creating roadmap frameworks and stakeholder reporting
  • Outstanding coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to drive change through collaboration rather than authority
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI-enabled Product teams and operational efficiency
Why Join?

Join a SaaS business embarking on a major European expansion journey

Work directly with an ambitious Chief Product Officer building a modern Product organisation

Influence how Product, Engineering and QA operate at scale

Drive AI and tooling adoption across the Product function

Shape Product Operations from the ground up

Enjoy the autonomy to experiment, innovate and continuously improve ways of working

Remote (UK) – Once a month trip to office

Up to £75,000 salary

Genuine opportunity to make a visible impact across the business

The Bottom Line

If you're the person who naturally spots inefficiencies, loves helping teams work smarter, and gets excited by building frameworks that enable Product teams to scale, this could be the perfect opportunity.

You’ll join at a pivotal moment, help shape the future of Product Operations, and play a critical role in supporting a SaaS platform expanding rapidly across Europe.
