Job summary

OpenWorks Engineering in the North East of England seeks a Product Marketing and Event Officer to bring campaigns and events to life, boosting brand awareness, engagement and growth. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, customers and partners to translate technical products into clear customer messages and memorable experiences.

The role covers conferences and showcases in the UK and overseas, delivering assets, managing budgets, and coordinating contractors.

Qualifications

• Be curious and pro-active, understand how products add value to end users
• Creative and capable of leading projects
• Experience in product marketing or marketing communications
• Experience managing external agencies and budgets
• Experience managing multiple projects and event schedules
• At least 3 years in a similarly fast-paced, technical environment

Responsibilities

• Lead on conferences, exhibitions and showcases in the UK and overseas, ensuring visitor experience
• Translate messages into briefs for contractors for artwork and booth design
• Coordinate contractors to meet timelines and budgets
• Maintain event materials and stock for OpenWorks team
• Coordinate content and media assets for events and digital PR
• Provide briefs and manage attendance and movement requirements
• Manage event diary across multiple years and onsite logistics
• Develop assets to support campaigns (literature, animations, videos, photography)
• Collaborate with sales to seize opportunities in markets
