Job description

This hybrid role requires working from our London office in Fitzrovia twice a week.

If you've been looking to join a fast-growing startup with a mission to make a huge positive impact, backed by the same investors as Stripe and Airbnb, then you’ve found the right place!

Our Mission

Our mission at Goodstack is to revolutionize how the world does good.

We empower companies to seamlessly integrate positive impact into what they do through a unified platform while supporting nonprofits in gaining access to cutting-edge technology and finding new funding streams.

Global brands, including LinkedIn, HSBC, OpenAI, Atlassian and Twilio - as well as thousands of nonprofits, including the Red Cross, Cancer Research, and Oxfam - use Goodstack to make a difference.

We are on a rapid growth trajectory. Just in 2024, we facilitated $3 billion in donations to good causes. But this is just the beginning. We want to become the world's leading platform that facilitates donations to the most individual nonprofits in the world. To achieve this, we need incredible people to help us on our journey - we need you!

Join Our Series A Startup as Product Manager (Payments) to Build the World's Most Efficient Global Donation Rails and Power Billions of Donations to Nonprofits Worldwide

We’re looking for an exceptional Product Manager to lead our Giving team's financial infrastructure products, including payouts, settlements, tax management, and ledger systems. This role is central to our mission of efficiently delivering donations from customers to charities worldwide.

In this role, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring donations received on behalf of our customers are paid out to charities efficiently. If you have deep knowledge or experience with financial tech & money movements, enjoy delivering ambitious roadmaps, and working continuously with internal and external stakeholders, this could be the perfect role for you!

As Product Manager (Payments), your mission will be to:

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success to deeply understand operational needs and customer pain points.
  • Develop and execute a strategic product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making for product development and optimisation.

Product Development

  • Shape the roadmap and lead end-to-end product development from discovery to delivery, always ensuring the team is driving business impact.
  • Establish and track meaningful product metrics and KPIs to analyse the performance of our product using data, and use those insights to determine the product roadmap.
  • Implement effective testing strategies including usability and beta testing.
  • Ship value often and help guide effective discovery of new initiatives by facilitating the prioritisation conversations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with financial, risk, and legal teams to ensure compliant product design.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Communicate product strategy and progress to leadership and stakeholders.
After 3 months, success will look like:
  • You have a deep understanding of existing payment infrastructure and processes.
  • Identified immediate optimisation opportunities in current workflows.
  • Have built relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
This role is a perfect match for you if you have:
  • 5 - 8 years of experience leading and owning complex, high-impact product areas.
  • Experience in building products that handle payments, transfers, and financial reconciliation.
  • A solid understanding of the mechanics of money movements, ideally with experience in global payments.
  • Familiarity working with financial, risk, and legal stakeholders, ensuring products are designed in a user-centric way while remaining compliant.
  • A knack for collaborating in cross-functional teams, including engineers, product designers, and other functions to deliver value to users through frequent product launches.
  • A love for high-velocity, dynamic startup environments, where you adapt to shifting priorities, customer needs, and engineering trade-offs.
  • Scale-up experience, creating thoughtful and engaging customer experiences across the product lifecycle.
  • A strong grasp of technical concepts, enabling close collaboration with engineers to find optimal solutions.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with innovative thinking.
Bonus if you have knowledge or love of:
  • Leveraging AI to automate manual processes.
