Job summary

Talent Smart is recruiting an IBM Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap and governance for a portfolio of IBM platforms within a major transformation program.

You will lead the IBM MQ, ACE and Tivoli initiatives, manage vendor relationships and collaborate with global engineering and architecture teams to deliver the migration from Tivoli to Instana.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Manager in an enterprise technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of IBM technologies, particularly MQ, ACE and Tivoli.
• Experience managing technology roadmaps, governance and product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the product strategy and roadmap for IBM platforms.
• Manage product governance, lifecycle and ongoing service improvement.
• Lead vendor management and commercial relationships.
• Oversee licensing, costs and contractual requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, architecture and technology teams.
• Support the migration from Tivoli to Instana.
• Coordinate with large, globally distributed teams across multiple regions.
• Represent the product portfolio at senior stakeholder and governance forums.

IBM Product Manager

• Inside IR35
• Sheffield or Birmingham - 3 days per week onsite. If based in Birmingham, at least 1 of the 3 days must be in Sheffield.

We're partnering with a leading financial services client to appoint an IBM Product Manager within their Enterprise Platform Integration function.

This is a key role within a large-scale transformation programme, with responsibility for the strategy, roadmap and governance of a portfolio of IBM products, including IBM MQ, ACE and Tivoli, alongside supporting the transition from Tivoli to Instana.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and develop the product strategy and roadmap for IBM platforms
• Manage product governance, lifecycle and ongoing service improvement
