Job summary

Talent Smart is seeking an IBM Product Manager to own the product strategy and roadmap for IBM platforms within the Enterprise Platform Integration function. You will manage governance, lifecycle and service improvement, lead vendor relationships, and coordinate with engineering, architecture and technology teams, including the Tivoli to Instana migration.

Hybrid role with on-site days in Sheffield and Birmingham; strong IBM tech experience (MQ, ACE, Tivoli) and global, multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager within an enterprise technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of IBM technologies, particularly MQ, ACE and Tivoli.
• Experience managing technology roadmaps, governance and product strategy.
• Strong vendor and licence management experience.
• Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with global, multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the product strategy and roadmap for IBM platforms.
• Manage product governance, lifecycle and ongoing service improvement.
• Lead vendor management and commercial relationships.
• Oversee licensing, costs and contractual requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, architecture and technology teams.
• Support the migration from Tivoli to Instana.
• Coordinate with large, globally distributed teams across multiple regions.
• Represent the product portfolio at senior stakeholder and governance forums.
